Read English review for yourself

There are review sites on the Internet.
Many sites provide Japanese reviews,
and Japanese Reviews are first displayed.

I recommend you to read English review if possible.
Because they write the opinion in straight, including bad point.

I saw the English review about the hotel I am going to stay.
There seems to be many disadvantages of the hotel.

“Avoid if possible”
“What a dump”
“Poorly maintained and sub-standard service”
“One the worst hotels I have been in my life”

Hmmmm it’s radical!

Podcast Addict, the best Android apps for learning English

I started listening podcast on iPod touch 4th,
Then three years has passed, My iPod touch is a little bit obsolete.
And I hate iTunes because it’s slow to start on windows and has many bugs.
I tried to find the counterpart in Android apps,
After struggling, I finally found good apps.
Podcast Addict has many features,

You can see script (if mp3 file has lyrics),
You can change the speed.
The most favorite thing is to copy downloaded mp3 files to your computer easily without using special software such as iTunes.

Ignoring traffic light

While I was driving, I encountered the car which apparently was ignoring the traffic light.

At first, I thought she did it intentionally,
But it seemed she did not notice traffic light turned to be red.

Fortunately, There was no possibility of collision,
because I started my car slowly.
What’s more it was a T junction.

situation

the car → traffic light(this side is red!) →
traffic light(this side is green!)
My car(turned to left)

If it was a 4-way intersection,
Risk of traffic accidents would be higher.

I must pay attention when I cross a intersection, even if a traffic light is green.

You can’t be too careful when you are driving your car.

Going to the foot of Mt.Fuji

My hobby is driving.

Whenever I have time, I go driving.
I want to see beautiful autumn fallen leaves.

Today’s destination is Matu-hime-touge.
where new route is supposed to open this Saturday.

I could see some beautiful scenery!
Autumn leaves of Okutama region is in full bloom.

I also went to the foot of Mt.Fuji to eat some famous food.
“Yoshida no Udon” is very good food.
The Feature of this noodles is very firm compared to other Udons.
It just cost me 550 yen.

Keep in mind that most of shop opening hours is limited only to lunch time(11:00-14:00).

I could not see clear image of Mt.Fuji because it was cloudy,
Next time I hope I can see Mt. Fuji clearly.

My ipod touch 4th were updated to iOS6

Since my main audio device is Xperia D2105,
I seldom use My ipod touch 4th (iOS 5.1).

You may think iPod touch 4th is obsolete,
but I’m a type of person who use old device until it breaks.

I heard iOS6 was too heavy for this device,
I kept iOS5.1 for a long time.
I use it as audio device, so there is no need to update iOS6.

But these days many apps requires iOS6,
So I finally decided to update my ipod touch 4th.

But After updating it,
Every operation takes much time than before!
How terrible it is!

I changed Language to English.
I have disabled almost all notifications.
It became better.

Japanese Cell phone in the Philippines

Using Japanese cell phone overseas is expensive!

It cost 155 yen to receive call per minute,
It cost much when you call outside the Philippines.

If you have a plan to stay over a month, I recommend that you get local cell phone because it’s much cheaper.

Though I brought my sim free phone (Xperia D2105) from Japan,
I did not try to buy prepaid sim, because My school gave us a pocket wifi.

Japan guide written in English

It is interesting to see our daily things from the other point of view.

tofugu.com is one of these sites.

There are many articles about Japanese cultures, Travel, Shops, and Japanese learning guide.

These contents are useful Not only for foreigners, but also Japanese.
Through them, we can learn how they feel about Japanese things.

Some of them are written by Japanese,
It may be easy to understand.

I read the article about egg vending machine.

Egg vending machine is very rare!
It is located Hyogo prefecture.
I wanted to visit there!

Joining “Asa-katsu Eikaiwa”

“Asa-katsu Eikaiwa” means English conversation performed in the morning.

Before going to the Philippines, I was thinking of joining it.
However I could not, Since I had an emphasis on pronunciation practice,

Yesterday I could join this event Finally!

It was held at the cafe near Kawagoe Station.
I was a little bit nervous because I didn’t know all participants.

Unlike Eikaiwa Club, This event has many regular participants.

But after starting conversation,
the atmosphere turned to be friendly.

My topic was studying English in the Philippines,
I also advertised it!

It was a good opportunity to speak your thought in English.

This event is free.
(But you must order some drinks because we use cafe space!)
